Disclaimer – Papa’s Workshop

With your (“the buyer”) purchase of The Lifter (“the product”), you agree to the following terms and conditions that shall serve to release Papa’s Workshop and Frank Carey (“the vendor” and “inventor”, respectively) from any and all liabilities and injuries resulting therefrom.

This agreement for release of all liability includes, but is not limited to:

I. Any potential breach of warranty resulting from the buyer’s modification of a Dewalt 788 and/or Delta 40-690 scroll saw using this product.

II. Any damage, immediate or future, to a Dewalt 788 and/or Delta 40-690 scroll saw after installation of this product.

III. Any bodily injury sustained by the buyer or any user thereafter upon modification of the Dewalt 788 and/or Delta 40-690 scroll saw.

IV. Any resulting damages or injuries from improper installation of the product.

NOTE: Instructions are to be included with the product. If they are, for any reason, not present in the shipment, it is the buyer’s obligation to immediately contact the vendor for a copy of the instructions prior to any attempted installation. 

Finally, the buyer acknowledges and agrees to the validity of the following:

Almost any do-it-yourself project involves risk of some sort. Your tools, materials, and skills will vary, as will the conditions at your project site. Always follow the manufacturer’s operating instructions in the use of tools, check and follow your local building codes, and observe all commonly accepted safety precautions. 

Should ANY safety concerns arise before or after installation, it is the buyer’s responsibility to immediately cease installation or use of the product and contact the vendor for a resolution or refund.
